Holy Baptism – Order Two from the Book of Common Prayer

Ricky Rountree

Many, including a number of clergy, find the handling of the service of Holy Baptism as set out in the Book of Common Prayer (2004) daunting and confusing. This little book attempts to help by giving some advice and by laying out the service in detail in various contexts.

This booklet is offered as a resource to clergy and for those preparing for baptism as candidates or parents and sponsors. It draws upon the personal experience of having used Holy Baptism Two on more than fifty occasions in all the different contexts mentioned in the booklet.
